On Sunday 9 February, Sandringham Royals Baseball Club will host the Sandy Royals Charity Day in support of local breast cancer survivors and Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).BCNA is the peak national organisation representing and supporting Australians affected by breast cancer.
The Sandy Royals are encouraging the Sandringham community to attend the fundraising event which will include a game between Sandy Royals and Melbourne Baseball Club. The Charity Day will be themed around BCNA’s Pink Lady logo, with players wearing pink playing tips and supporters encouraged to ‘pink up’. Funds raised through catering, raffles, donations and the sale of playing shirts will all be donated directly to BCNA.
